Premier League giants, Arsenal have been told that they will have to
pay €80million (£72million) for Lille striker, Nicolas Pepe during the
January transfer window.
Pepe has been heavily linked with a move to join the Gunners in recent months.
The Ivorian international has scored 12 goals and assisted five for Lille so far this campaign.
Speaking about Pepe’s price tag, Lille chief, Luis Campos told
Telefoot on Sunday that any club which wants to sign the 23-year-old
will have to pay €80million.
“Pepe’s value is €80million,” Campos said.
“But any club will also have to convince the player.”
Meanwhile, French outlet, L’Equipe, recently claimed that Lille were
open to selling Pepe in the January window, with Arsenal in pole
position to sign him.
